Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in the fields of theater, film and TV. Her acting career began in the theater. Then she appeared on numerous television shows, independent films and mainstream movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. Not only did she be praised by critics for her performance, but she also received a few awards and nominations. Her first professional performance was in the role of Ariel, in The Tempest. The actress has appeared in Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Men of Honor and the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. The role she played as a regular in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
